My grandfather kicked the bucket some time ago and I'll be carrying his coffin at the funeral. This sucks in its own right, but I've also got to shave my head now, because of certain conservative elements in the family. Bleh. Oh, well, I wouldn't have been able to keep the 'hawk too long anyway, because I'll be going to the army in January. Besides, I really can't be bothered with such a high-maintenance hairstyle at the moment.

Damnit, I don't even want to go to the damn funeral. I may have inherited some of my genetic matter from this guy, but it doesn't mean that I liked him. Besides, the religious side of the event annoys me to no end, and it's going to be extremely boring. As 2, the Ranting Gryphon, put it, why can't they just dump the body in the hole and shout "Dead bitch, ho!" and get it over and done with?

RopeCon's next weekend. Don't know if I'll be going. I'll have to consider it. Hmmm. Too hyped up to decide. Later.

That sucks about the hawk. I finally got mine about a week ago -- my mom cried when I came home shaved. Hehe. Why are you goin to the army? WTF? Is it mandatory or somethin?

It's mandatory for all male citizens in Finland. If you don't feel like going to the army you can also take civil service, which lasts about twice as long as most people will end up spending in the army. I chose the army because I want to learn how to use explosives. :D

Aaah, good point, I hadn't thought of that. If you join the US Army, you also learn about explosives. Unfortunately they're on the side of the road in Iraq.

In case you're going to ropecon, you could join Max and me.
We were thinking of going there on Saturday, but I have a feeling that it'll turn out to be on Sunday anyhow...

Just so you won't ask who Max is: Max was a pikkunen I had this summer, and he's also into WH fantasybattle.

But meh, we'll talk 'bout it later.
